Project Update: Progress on 1881 Shetland Fishing Disaster Book
After years of researching the 1881 Shetland Fishing Disaster, I'm excited to share that the research phase is largely complete. My focus has now shifted to writing the manuscript—bringing together the stories of the fishermen, their families, and the communities forever changed by the storm. I'm still happy to hear from descendants with family stories, photographs, or documents that can help preserve this remarkable history.
